Diving in Montenegro under the Open Water Diver program includes a more profound study on physical processes of diving (theoretical sessions) as well as practical sessions in swimming pool and in open water.
The time of sessions will be arranged individually for you. You will become a real diver and obtain an international certificate under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Open Water Diver
The Open Water Diver Course is the most popular one and it serves as a free pass to the world of breath-taking adventures. This is the first, basic course on underwater swimming.
Upon completion of the course the Open Water Diver certificate is issued by the confederation guiding by the system of which you have decided to learn. Any certificate is valid all over the world. In order to obtain the certificate, one must take a theory course, make 4 dives in a swimming pool and 4 dives in open water. The Open Water Diver certificate enables you to dive with a partner or within a group.
The Open Water Diver certificate may be obtained by anybody from the age of 10 if one is healthy and well physically fit. At a certain stage of the training the instructor asks the students to show their ability to swim as well as to fill in a number of documents. For the children aged 10-14 there is a Junior Scuba Diver program.
One may take the course both in a group and individually. The flexibility of the program is nearly unlimited. Choose your individual training schedule and call your instructor.
The course normally takes 4 trainings, each approximately 3-4 hours per day.
From the theoretical course you will learn about the medical aspects of human sensation under water, the constitution of respiratory system, will find out more about the history of the development of underwater swimming as well as will learn the basics of physiology and physiological processes in the course of breathing with compressed air. Within the course of practical trainings you will learn to breathe properly, dive and rise wisely, make use of stabilizing jacket, regulator and the rest of the equipment, learn specific gestures used under water and the technique of swimming under water.
The rent of the pool and the equipment for underwater swimming are included in the cost of the course.
During the course it is necessary to make 4 dives in open water. It will be most convenient for you to make those in summer season from May 01 to October 01.
Upon completion of training (swimming pool + open water) you will obtain an international certificate (plastic card), with no limitations on validity period and accepted anywhere in the world.
Advanced Open Water Diver
(continuing training)
In order to obtain the Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, it is necessary to make 5 dives, of which Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation are mandatory. The Search & Rescue course is also included in the program according to CMAS system.
The maximum diving depth recommended within this program is 30 meters.
The Advanced Open Water Divers having reached 15 years of age may choose special courses Deep Diver and Wreck Diver. By obtaining the Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, the diver comes up to the level requested for taking a Rescue Diver course. Furthermore, one may choose any special course. Age restrictions are present only for some special courses: Cavern Diver - 18 years, Semiclosed Rebreather Dolphin/Atlantis/Ray – 15 years, Search and Recovery – 12 years.
Moreover, any dive under the Advanced Open Water Diver course will be counted to as the first dive on obtainment of Specialty Diver certificate. For example, if you have completed a night dive on the Advanced Diver course program, it will be coincidently considered as the first dive under the Night Diver special course. Rescue Diver – third level
(continuing training)
The learning on such an important aspect as prevention of accidents is transformed into a captivating activity in the frame of this course. The Rescue Diver course sets one thinking on how to make diving safe not only for oneself, but also for wider public.
You will learn how to prevent accidents on submersion as well as to act expeditiously in the case of emergency: to respond to behavior of a diver in an appropriate way, resolve problems, render assistance inclusive of medical one. The availability of a Rescue Diver certificate or the equivalent allows to start learning a professional program.
The trainings may be taken by divers of 15 years and above having obtained the Advanced Open Water certificate or the equivalent. For completion of the course one must have made not less than 25 registered dives. You also need the document confirming the completion of Emergency First Response course or the course on CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) issued at least 2 years ago.

The contents of the course:
Wise and effective first aid treatment both afloat and ashore. You will also learn to avoid unforeseen situations under water and study the methods of overcoming the worst-case situations. The sessions are not limited in time and everything will depend on how soon you are able to master and practice the knowledge and skills gained.
Divemaster
If your enthusiasm for diving has grown to a career aspiration, the Divemaster course is the first base for professional growth in diving. The award of Divemaster qualification gives evidence of that the diver:
has perfect skills of underwater swimming;
has a knowledge of theoretical information at the instructor level;
is able to assist the instructor on diving learning sessions;
is able to apply adequate measures for the provision of safety of other divers.
Having obtained the qualification of Divemaster, the majority of divers do not limit themselves and progress to instructors. The training under the Divemaster program not only provides them with the opportunity of acquiring knowledge and experience, but also helps to develop skills and qualities required for a potential instructor. In order to assist divers to become qualified professionals, our diving center offers special training literature inclusive of a full set of special tutorials. We also offer an internship during the course by working in our diving center.
The Divemaster qualification enables for:
Organization, carrying out and controlling of the process of submersion of amateur divers both off-shore and from a boat.
Assisting an instructor in conduction of training for divers according to international system under which the Divemaster is certified.
In order to apply for the Divemaster course, it is necessary to:
Obtain Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent.
Obtain Rescue Diver certificate or equivalent.
Make and register at least 40 dives in open water prior to start of training under Divemaster program as well as to have made and registered at least 80 dives in open water inclusive of night dives, deep dives and underwater orienteering prior to obtainment of Divemaster certificate.
Reach 18 years of age.
Be physically fit well enough for diving and submit a medical certificate on health survey signed by physician.

Practical course:
This course consists of clearly structured sessions where all possible scenarios developments are played as well as real training submersions take place. Such sessions give an opportunity to gain practical experience of working as an instructor assistant or diver controlling submersions in open water, being a coordinator and a guide to underwater world at the same time.
Having obtained a Divemaster qualification, you will be able to:
Act as instructor assistant.
Control and coordinate submersions of uncertified divers and those being trained under introductory diving program.
Prepare for dives aimed at training and entertaining, namely plan and organize them as well as coordinate actions of divers.
Train certified divers on Scuba Review program.
Apply to the trainer course.
After successful completion of the course you will obtain plastic card and wall certificate, confirming the award of Divemaster qualification.
